Spelling as Communication

Flowering Futures is a space for neurodivergent individuals to empower themselves and come together in community. Our educational space specializes in spelling as a form of communication.

We work with non-speaking students to strengthen their purposeful motor skills and believe that communication is a human right that must become accessible to all.

We serve autistic and other neurodivergent individuals of all ages, who have motor, sensory, and communication differences. We teach and practice purposeful movements to enable spelling to communicate by:

Advocating for Change

Our non-speakers are very passionate about a wide range of topics. Many of our neurodivergent community members are dedicated to advocating and educating the public on disability rights to create change. Find out more about their initiatives and ways to get involved.

Awareness + Education

We are committed to spreading awareness about neurodivergence and the lived experiences of the people we serve — so that we can create a safer and more inclusive world full of real opportunities for non-speakers. This goes hand in hand with creating more access to education for everyone.
